and zooming Grits

To make a long story short, the stars of Haven are promising a Season 3 replete with organ stealing, mind control and time travel. We expect nothing less. What the actors didn’t say is that “The Troubles” can no longer be confined to TV. In real-life headlines, wild things are happening on the NDP’s watch. (They’re in Season 3 of their mandate as well.)

Take last weekend’s news, for example. The precarious deal to salvage the NewPage plant in Cape Breton was felled like timber one day and resurrected the next. “Zombie mill! Back from the dead! Again!” was the tweet du jour, courtesy of my colleague Frances Willick. Indeed. That supercalendered paper machine must have supernatural powers.
