Wales' top doctor Ruth Hussey suggests debate over an 'obesity law'




"Wales’ top doctor has refused to rule out introducing laws to tackle the nation’s obesity epidemic.

Chief Medical Officer for Wales, Dr Ruth Hussey, told the National Assembly’s Children and Young People Committee she hoped health improvements could be made voluntarily – but wants a public discussion over any potential legislation.
