"In their article in the March 2013 issue of the AJR, Amber and Fiester [1] argue convincingly against the premise that radiologists should never communicate results directly to patients or that communication should be restricted to normal reports. The authors treated this issue with care, wisely in my opinion; otherwise, the enjoyment of reading the article would be spoiled by prematurely acquainting the reader with reality."
