PC police vs. free cookies at Publix: Central Florida 100

Ric Keller, lawyer, former member of Congress
"NO MORE FREE COOKIES? Last week: The city of Coral Gables became the first city to ban plastic bags, with fines up to $500 to promote the use of reusable bags. The politically correct plastic-bag-banning Nazis need to leave Publix (and us) alone. The reusable bags are made by a company in China using nonwoven polypropylene, a form of plastic that takes 28 times more energy to produce and longer to decompose in landfills. What’s next for these nanny state do-gooders? Childhood obesity. Did you know the Publix bakery has the outrageous policy of giving a free cookie to kids?"
