NCAA's Sanctions Against Penn State For Sex Scandal Are Too Lenient
Mike Ozanian, Forbes Staff
It comes down to simple math, just like the actuarial tables compiled by the whizzes that work for insurance companies. In the case of Penn State (as well as other valuable college football teams) the penalties handed out today were worth the risk of covering up the sexual abuse of boys. Other schools must be thinking to themselves about the penalties the NCAA handed out against Penn State “we can get rich by turning over the keys to the school to the football team and if something blows up down the road we will most likely still come out ahead financially.”
