"The real source of the angst in the country isn’t the establishment, but the very real material challenges people face in their daily lives, such as stagnant wages and rising health care and education costs. This isn’t irrational angst. On the contrary, it’s enlightened. The public correctly intuits that no one is in charge in Washington and that we’re simply printing money with the hope that everything will work out fine.

We are in great peril, but the wonderful news is the new elites are positioned to impose solutions. Conservatives should be intellectually honest about our victories and embrace the spirit and not just the letter of the law when it comes to constitutional conservatism."
