Ralph Lauren Olympics Uniforms: 'Fox & Friends' Hosts Question The Beret (VIDEO)
"After official designs for the 2012 Olympics team were released on Tuesday, the team over at "Fox & Friends" had one pressing question -- why do the Ralph Lauren outfits include a beret?

The Associated Press reminded readers that berets were also part of the 2002 Winter Olympics uniforms. The light blue berets became quite the fashion trend and sold out in Salt Lake City stores.
On "Fox & Friends," hosts Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson seemed skeptical of the 2012 outfits.

Doocy wondered if the beret was really appropriate for the American team. "The big question though is should the American team be wearing a beret? Why not a baseball cap? Why not a cowboy hat like we had when we went to Calgary?" he wondered. "Or why not do something just very American and go topless?"
Later in the show, Doocy reportedly said that viewers emailed in to remind the hosts that members of the U.S. special forces don berets."
