"MAYOR BLOOMBERG continued his effort to sell the public on his big-soda crackdown Tuesday — but misfired his pitch by offering as testament a woman who said the policy wouldn’t change her choice of refreshments.

The anti-obesity initiative, which bars city-regulated restaurants, movie theaters, sports arenas and other businesses from selling the drinks in cups larger than 16 ounces, is expected to be rubber-stamped next week by the Board of Health, whose members are all mayoral appointees."
