"Tailgating in Nittany Lion country is a big deal. The Cerutti family has been coming to State College for 35 years, always to the same plot, stationed in a fenced in mulched area between the stadium and the parking lot.

Prioritize. "Penn state gear falls right below [having the ticket]," Nordstrom said. Food and friends come after. "Cigars, beer and the Joe Pa cut out," those are the three most important objects in any Penn State tailgate, according to Sheldon Levine of State College."
