"And although Fetchnotes could conceivably be exploited by students cheating on an exam, it's meant to facilitate legitimate information sharing, not plagiarism.

The truth is, individual integrity and teamwork are two sides of the same coin. You can't collaborate effectively with people you can't trust, and cheaters are untrustworthy by definition. (Think of "Reservoir Dogs," or any number of bank heist movies in which conspirators ultimately turn on one another.)
