Mob rule ruinous for rural communities

"As illustrated by the last presidential red-versus-blue election map, urban majorities control what is done in the larger geographical rural part of the country that has different interests. It is possible our forefathers saw the problem of rural minorities being controlled by urban majorities as allowed under a 50 percent plus one simple democratic majority, which is a form of selfish uninformed inexperienced mob rule, and the creation of a republic and electoral college process may have been an attempt to head off this problem.
You can say that I am a sore loser, but in my expressed area of concern, and knowing everything we need comes from use of natural resources, the urban majority's control of the use of natural resources and rural minorities is an extension of what is happening. All around us you can see all kinds of examples of use of inexperience mixed with protectionist thinking by politically correct nice folks and unaccountable inexperienced governmental groups while ignoring experienced field people that apply historically proven and real world peer-reviewed science and site-specific facts mixed with a little logic and common sense."
