NPR’s Diane Rehm talks about fungal meningitis, an illness that had a local impact
In case you missed it, The Diane Rehm Show on NPR hosted a discussion panel on compounding pharmacies framed around the fungal meningitis outbreak that began last fall and continues to linger today. Fungal meningitis and related infections have been blamed for more than 700 illnesses and the deaths of 46 people nationwide. Three of the people who died were residents of Elkhart County.
