Gov. Perry appoints members to CPRIT committee
Gov. Rick Perry appointed two members to the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas Oversight Committee.
Angelos Angelou is founder of Austin-based Angelou Economics and former vice president of economic development for theAustin Chamber of Commerce. He is also a past board member of the International Economic Development Council. Perry appointed Angelou to a term that will expire in January 2019.
A. Gerry Geistweidt is a private practice attorney and a member of the State Bar of Texas and Texas Bar Association. Geistweidt was appointed for a term that will end in January 2015.
