NYC Urged to Support Meatless Mondays Resolution

New York City lawmakers are calling on residents to act on behalf of our health, the environment and animals with a resolution intended to promote Meatless Mondays, which calls on us to choose meat-free meals for the day.
Last week City Councilmembers Helen Rosenthal and Corey Johnson introduced a resolution asking the city to formally recognize Meatless Mondays and promote it through public awareness campaigns.
