Ebola Victims Face 90% Death Risk; Drugs Start to Emerge
People who are at risk of infection have little protection for now against a virus that kills as many as 90 percent of those it strikes. The latest outbreak, in Guinea, has infected 86 people, killing 59 of them, with suspected cases in neighboring Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to the World Health Organization. Still, the Geneva-based agency said the risk to travelers is low and isn’t recommending any travel restrictions to Guinea.
