Nannystate: Sugary drinks to be banned in hospitals, NHS England recommends

Sugary drinks to be banned in hospitals NHS England recommends

"LONDON, U.K. - In a solemn attempt to back check the persistent obesity in England, NHS has recommended on a ban of vending machines that give out sugary drinks in hospitals.
Simon Stevens, the chief executive of NHS had earlier spoken on the junk food consumption in hospitals and how it could cause the association to go bankrupt.
More recently, he put forward two plans: one being the cutting back of production of sugary drinks in hospitals and the second being an imposition of fee on soft drink vendors. The fee would be 20 percent."
