"Much has been written about Texas' controversial $10,000 degree proposal. Proponents say it is necessary to counter the “higher education bubble” brewing nationally, while opponents brand it as financially unfeasible, with no guarantee of improved educational quality or corresponding student employability upon graduation. Yet the $10,000 degree is a good idea that will benefit lots of folks."
